History
May 28-June 1, 2008 Oasis Family Life Church hosted its first PURE Women’s Conference. As part of the conference, we launched our 1st Women’s Business Expo which was held Saturday May 31, 2008, from 9am-1pm. The Business Expo hosted numerous workshops including resume writing, mock interviews, women in leadership, dress for success, and so much more. A signature piece of the Business Expo was Christina’s Closet. Christina’s Closet gave participants an opportunity to receive free of charge items that we hope will help them be successful on their journey.
Christina’s Closet was able to help 31 people with business attire during the Business Expo. Impressed by the sophistication, style and uniqueness of the look of Christina’s Closet, many vendors requested to become community partners with us. One of our Community Partners is GA Department of Labor Cartersville Office. They service the Bartow, Paulding County Areas. They stated that it was a need for something like this in the area and would love to partner with Christina’s Closet. What was suppose to be a one time event is now not for profit organization servicing the W. GA community.
